My obsession: Glasses. Shopping online @ ZenniOptical

Some people have a shoe obsession, some a jeans obsession or jewelry obsession. I think I might be have an addiction to prescription eye glasses.

Don’t laugh. I’m serious.

Two years ago if a friend would have confided this in me I would have looked them in the eyes and told them to head over to Nordstrom or Neiman Marcus and pick up an expensive clothing addiction. At least that way they’d have a bit more to show for the hundreds of dollars per item they were spending.

‘Tis the season for boots.

Go ahead and ditch that short and stumpy boot. It’s time to stand tall and wear them high. Models from Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chado Ralph Rucci, Costume National and even Chloe were all sporting over-the-knee and thigh high boots during the Fall 2009 Fashion Week. And if you’re like us, you were checking the department stores and websites on a weekly or daily basis waiting for these beauties to hit the stores. Personally it’s what we hate most about fashion weeks—waiting to buy what’s on the runway. But take the cue from our favorite celebrities—the wait is finally over!

The temperature has been dropping and the stars are putting away their gladiators and open toed ankle boots (thank God!) for a taller order of fashion. While BlueFly and traditional department stores like Nordstrom and Macys are lacking in any over-the-knee gems, we did find some cute boots online. Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Macus, Bloomingdales,, DSW Shoes and all offer over the knee and thigh high boots. (Each link takes you directly to the search results.)
